Handmade leather tote hanging in the Filajdić Leather workshop

Handmade in Zagreb, Croatia

Leather goods.
On purpose.

Bags, wallets, belts, quivers, small goods, the occasional wedding invitation — saddle-stitched by hand, one piece at a time.

Selected work

Every piece gets a spec sheet.

No two hides are identical, so no two pieces are either. This is the range — not the limit. If it's leather, ask.

Custom orders

How a commission actually happens.

  1. I

    Inquiry

Tell me what you're after. Photos, dimensions, a vague idea — all workable starting points.

  2. II

    Design

We settle on leather, hardware, dimensions, and a fixed quote — before any money changes hands.

  3. III

    Build

2–4 weeks, depending on the queue and the piece. Progress photos along the way, and a short video of your piece coming together.

  4. IV

    Shipping

Tracked shipping across the EU, or pick it up in person in Zagreb.

Every commission is quoted individually — leather, size, and detailing all move the number. You'll have a fixed price in writing before anything is booked or paid.

Portrait at the leather workshop bench

About

One bench. One pair of hands.

Software developer by day, leatherworker at the bench. No apprentices, no production line — just one workshop in Zagreb and whatever's clamped in it this week.

Everything is saddle-stitched by hand: two needles, one waxed thread, no shortcuts that a sewing machine would take for you.

If it leaves this workshop, it's because I'd carry it myself.
